Vic and Angelo are David Manero’s cousins from Naples, Italy. Long ago in the old country Vic, Angelo and the rest of the family would eat Sunday dinners together. It used to start when Vic and Angelo would ride their Vespa to the bakery to make a fresh dough. Once the dough is made they would go pick fresh tomatoes from the vine and gather all of the fresh spices from the garden. They would take these fresh ingredients, hand-made dough, and cook fresh pizza for the family in their coal oven. They made homemade pasta and fresh sauces, and the entire family enjoyed their dinners every Sunday. Three generations under the D.O.C. David Manero has brought this authenticity of Italian Family Sunday Dinners to South Florida. From the GARDEN TO THE PLATE, all of the ingredients are fresh and imported from Italy. All of the water for the pizzas dough is imported from New York City, delivering a light crispy crust. David Manero carries on the tradition and is true to his heritage through wonderful, authentic, Italian cuisine served at Vic and Angelo’s.
